Want to Tell Your Client Thank You This Holiday Season? Do It With a Corporate Gift.

If you’re one more baseball hat or coffee mug away from being labeled Most Terrible Gift-Giver, this blog post is for you.

It’s true: corporate gift buying can be a pain. Also true: employees, clients, and team members are invaluable to your company’s success. Gift giving is a simple way to show gratitude, strengthen your relationships, and maintain loyalty. And there’s never a better time to express your gratitude with a corporate gift than during the holiday season.

If you’re feeling uninspired by corporate gifts this season, Mori is here to help.

Meet Candi Easterwood. Candi is the ecommerce store manager for Mori Luggage & Gifts, and she also leads the Corporate Gift Program.

Corporate Gifts Candi Easterwood

Candi’s going to help you put the fun in functional corporate gift giving this season by providing some tips and on-point gift selections for your team or clients this season. Oh and if you’re wondering about that leather beauty she’s holding in the photo — it’s a Mosaic Chester Square Flap Backpack, which can be embossed with your logo and makes an excellent gift for your team!

One of the best parts of Candi’s job is helping customers find just the right gift for their employees or clients. “I’m always armed with gift ideas — it’s what I do!” says Candi. “But it helps when I know a little more about the recipients, as well as the company’s goals when we discuss options.” When it comes to choosing the right gift, Candi says to consider the following:

  • What’s a gift that you would like and use? You may not have the same taste as your recipient, but if you’re considering a gift that you’d never enjoy, keep on looking.

  • How much significance do you want to show? Is this a sentimental gift commemorating service or is it a simple thank you? The kind of gift you choose should reflect your intent.

  • Save hats and mugs for the tradeshow. Consider your recipient’s personal interests, or at the very least, choose something that is likely to be used daily.

  • Consider how you’ll personalize it. This could include choosing a gift that’s in line with the recipient’s hobbies or choosing an item that can be personalized with their initials.

Once you have a direction for your gift it’s easier to select a well-suited option, whether you’re choosing on your own or contacting someone like Candi to help. Of course, selecting a gift is just the beginning. Personalization is where the extra magic happens. Typically, leather products allow for logo embossing. Mori will use a custom dye to create your logo on our leather products. We also provide free gold or silver initials monogramming on most leather items.

You’ll know you’ve nailed the right gift when it becomes so popular, others want it for themselves. “One of our biggest corporate gift givers is a college in Virginia that always gives senior football players a leather duffle bag with their football logo engraved,” says Candi. “Inevitably, a couple of the parents call back wanting one, too!”

Mori’s corporate gift giving service offers personalized support (from people like Candi!) to help you find the perfect gift, save big on quantity orders, and receive perks like free gift wrapping and fast shipping services (just in case you put it off for too long).
